The rule and life of this group is to observe the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ by following the example of St. Francis of Assisi. Secular Franciscans devote themselves to careful reading of the gospels and seeking ways to encounter the living and active person of Christ in their brothers and sisters, in the Scriptures, in the Church and in liturgical activity.

Membership to our local fraternity, Br. Jacopa Fraternity, is open to active fully initiated Catholics age 18 or older.
