St. Bede’s has always sought to reach out to those who need help planning a funeral liturgy when a loved one dies. Fr. Tim Plavac, our pastor  meets with the family and coordinates with the funeral director any special circumstances. Interested individuals can pre-arrange their own services if desired. A Grief Support group meets the third Wednesday of each month at 2:00 pm in the Youth Ministry Room. Counseling is also available upon request.

There is telephone or written contact with the immediate family during the first year of bereavement. An All Souls Memorial Mass is celebrated in early November, remembering those who have departed during the past year.
